Online Gaming

Online gaming has developed greatly over the years. Most people used to associate online gaming with just logging onto a website and playing a simple flash game by yourself for 5 minutes. Now we are surrounded by all types of online gaming on different consoles and games. We can now play online games with people across the world and interact with them via typing and even speaking to them via head sets .

I've always been interested in gaming since i was very young, starting with a SNES, ps1, ps2, xbox then PS3 (Currently). I didn't know online gaming existed on consoles until the ps3 and xbox 360 consoles came out and i never used to play games any proper games on PC either as i thought coles were much better.
I remember when i had my ps3 and wasnt really interested in setting it up online however all my friends said that i HAD too get it online as it was so much fun. I set it up and for quite a while became addicted to it. I only played one game online which was CALL OF DUTY which was also the game all of my firends played online also. The fact you could play agasint your firends and other people across the world was fair different to playing a computer and a lot more fun , you got a buzz from it. Call of duty is a first person shoter and there are various games u can play online agasint people such as team deathmatch, Free for all and many more. In each of the games you earn points and move up class's which becomes addictive because you want to be better than friends and other people.
The way in which you can intereact with people makes it like a friends social network. You can add friends and send messages and chat to them through the head set.
I think online gaming is now more popular than ever and hundreds of thousands of people love it ( maybe a bit too much ) Flash games online seem like a thing of the past i think the online gaming community will contiune to grow and develop.
